How to write a nanny or maid profile that families trust
Tips for helpers: what to put in your headline and About me, which photos work, and how to get your profile approved quickly.

Families scroll through many profiles. A clear, honest profile helps you stand out and gets approved faster.
Your photo
- Use a recent, clear photo of your face, on your own, with good light.
- Smile and look at the camera. No sunglasses, filters or group photos.
- Dress as you would for an interview.
Your headline
One short sentence that says who you are and what you do best, for example: "Caring nanny with 6 years' experience with newborns and toddlers". Be specific and truthful.
About me
Write a few short paragraphs:
- The ages of the children you have cared for and for how long.
- The household tasks you are good at – cooking, laundry, cleaning, school runs.
- The languages you speak.
- What kind of family and job you are looking for.
Be accurate
Our team reviews every profile before it goes live. Profiles with incomplete or inaccurate information are sent back with a note explaining what to change. Write only what is true – families will ask about it in the interview and when they call your references.
Keep your availability up to date
If you find a job, update your availability so families don't contact you by mistake. You can change it any time from your dashboard.
Optional: identity verification
You can upload a government ID privately to get the Identity Verified badge. Your document is never shown on the site. What the badge means.
