How it works for families

1. Search. Filter by city, type of help, live-in or live-out, availability, languages, experience and salary expectations.
2. Shortlist. Save profiles and compare them. Look at experience with the same age group, languages and availability.
3. Contact. Send a message from the profile. Members can also see phone and WhatsApp details.
4. Interview and check. Meet the candidate, call references and see original documents yourself before hiring.

What we check – and what we don't

A member of our team reviews every profile before it goes live. Helpers can also choose to have a government ID reviewed; if it matches the profile, they get an Identity Verified badge. We do not carry out background, criminal record or reference checks, and we do not verify employment history or visa status. Those checks are part of your hiring process.

Costs

Browsing, posting a job and messaging helpers are currently free. Direct phone and WhatsApp details are available to members. Nannest never charges a placement fee.

Employment rules

Employing a domestic worker in the UAE is governed by rules set by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE). Requirements depend on the worker's visa and sponsorship situation, so check the current rules before making an offer.
